What information do we collect:
GROAD takes your right to privacy seriously. Although we may collect non-personal information as you browse the site, such as the type of internet browser that you use, we will not be able to identify you from this information. On some parts of our website, you may need to register your email address, postal address, or phone number – for example to book a home collection. In these circumstances, we will collect and safely store your email address and name.
Protecting your information
You will never be added to the marketing lists of other companies or third parties by giving your details to us.
GROAD only ever shares your information with service providers necessary for us to process and prepare your information, Gift Aid, or donations. For example, to send out the e-newsletter or to generate online forms on our website. Your data will never be used by third-party companies for their own marketing purposes.
How to stop us or change how we communicate with you
If you ask us to stop communicating with you, we will remove your details from our database. You can stop or change the way we communicate with you at any time in the following ways:-
Unsubscribe from a GROAD mailing list by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of one of our emails
Write to us at email putting ‘Unsubscribe’ in the subject field

There are minimum but different levels of information we ask from you, depending on its purpose. For example, to claim Gift Aid or carry out a home collection, we will need a valid address and postcode. To send you our e-newsletter, we will need a valid email address. GROAD will always ask you for your name and title so we can address you correctly.
If you sign up for one purpose – for example, Gift Aid – we will always ask your permission to include you in GROAD’s other marketing communications – for example, the e-newsletter.
Public areas of the website
Any communication or material that you transmit to, or post on, any public area of the site including any data, questions, comments, and suggestions is treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary information.

GROAD’s website uses third-party systems like Google Analytics and Addthis so we can analyse how people use our site. This information is collected anonymously and tells us things like what pages are most browsed on our site, helping us to improve the website. TRAID does not and cannot track or store personal information of site users.

The collection and use of personal information on this site is in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1998 ( UK).). The DPA applies to all data held within the European Economic Area (EEA). We will only transfer data to an organisation outside this area if we have a contract with it which ensures that the standards set out in this policy are maintained.
